Individual Advocacy Group (IAG) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to advocate for individuals with special needs.  IAG provides training services, therapies and residential programs for children and adults who have developmental disabilities, a mental illness, behavioral problems or who have sustained a brain injury. 

IAG focuses its programs for people who do not have families and for people who have trouble being accepted by a service organization to get the supports that they need.  IAG provides its services in 26 different counties througout illiniois and in Washington D.C.

IAG believes that all individuals deservie and receive respect regardless of their past or the type and severity of specialized needs.  Furthermore, all individuals need to be assured of individual rights that provide the base upon which services and supports encourage community participation and personal independence enjoyed by all citizens.  Each individual can meet his or her goals, regardless of the impediments to success they may encounter along the way!  Each person must develop and maintain his or her own self-respect, positive self-image and belief in achieving goals!
